Value-added shrimp products and pangasius developments

The Russian shrimp market has been growing as well as the range of products on offer. For instance, starting from June 2007 there will be more importers supplying seafood cocktails from China and Denmark. However there are fears that seafood shipments from China will be allowed only from plants approved by the Russian veterinary and phytosanitary service Rosselkhoznadzor just like it has been done with Vietnam.
