Sturgeon hatchery meeting high production targets

State-owned sturgeon hatchery FGUP Grivensky Osetrovyi Rybozavodnoy Zavod based near the Olympics city in Kransodarsky Krai Territory in the south of Russia has fulfilled the target of farming juveniles of sturgeon and herbivorous fish species, according to Yuga.ru.

More specifically, the company produced ca.5 million juveniles. Now the output is being sold to the province's fish farms.

The hatchery has been actively participating in the province's program on conservation of fish resources. More specifically, the company has been carrying out measures to help fight cases of poaching.
