Seventh showing at Brussels show for HB Grandi

HB Grandi is now preparing for its participation in the European Seafood Exposition (ESE), to be held in Brussels from the 3rd to the 5th of May, alongside its partner event Seafood Processing Europe (SPE). HB Grandi has been a regular exhibitor at Brussels since 2005 and this is the seventh time that the company has used the event as a showcase for its activities and products, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to HB Grandi.

The two Brussels events are very much in the limelight in early May. Visitors are expected from 150 countries and Brussels has become centre stage for all that is best and most innovative that today's seafood business and suppliers to the seafood industry have to offer. This year around 700 companies are expected to be exhibiting at ESE and the SPE event that focuses on the development and technology side of the industry is expected to be host to 200 companies from 22 countries.

According to HB Grandi's marketing manager Svavar Svavarsson, participation at Brussels has become an increasingly important part of the company's marketing strategy, providing the opportunity to meet new customers as well as being an important and welcome opportunity to renew acquaintance with the many customers that HB Grandi has been in regular contact with for many years.

‘Brussels is the most important event of its kind and the largest such exhibition in the world. In our experience, Brussels has been an excellent platform, which is why we will be there for the seventh year in a row," he said.

Fifteen of HB Grandi's staff will be on the company's stand at Brussels, indicating how seriously this event is treated, giving them the opportunity to discuss with seafood buyers, establish new contacts and build on existing relationships with present customers.

‘We have been fortunate enough to find new contacts at Brussels in the past, or in the aftermath of the exhibition, and we hope that we can do that this year as well,' said Svavar Svavarsson, who will be on the company's stand 839-1 in Hall 6 with his sales staff.
