Seafood delivery costs to become lower in Russia

Rybtransservis shipping company started to make contracts with fish companies to transport fish products from the Russian Far East to Central Russia, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ with reference to local media sources.

Rybtransservis company is ready to offer lower tariffs at more profitable conditions.

It is planned to sign contracts in April 2010. The contracts are to set the tariffs for transportation for the whole year 2010, that is very important as the tariffs for transportation from Russian Far East to Central Russia usually increase from RUB5.00-7.00 per kilo to RUB15.00-16.00 per kilo within the year.

Total volume of fish products shipped from Russian Far East to Central regions amounts to nearly 150,000 tonnes per year.
