Seafood deli supplier improves service for restaurants and retailers

Saint-Petersburg-based La Mare Company has improved its conditions for restaurants and retail outlets in Russia's second biggest single seafood market. Fresh seafood and delicatessen products are now delivered to the city by air twice a week. When landed, the products are delivered to trade outlets by the firm's own trucks.

In Saint Petersburg La Mare has been working for more than 4 years. During the period the company has established business relations with many famous restaurants, hotels and shops. The company is a traditional participant of specialized food shows of the city and it also practices master-classes and tastings.

La Mare was established in 1989. At that moment it was Russia's first supplier of chilled and live shellfish and mollusks such as oysters, lobsters and various exotic fish from all over the world.

As the restaurant and hotel industry has been developing in Moscow and all over Russia, the company has been also growing. Starting from sales of 20 kilos of shellfish per week, La Mare currently sells ca.20 tonnes of various products per day.

The company's wide product range relies on a workforce of 90 people trained abroad, specialized cold storage facilities, as well as 30 trucks equipped with special refrigeration plant.

Now La Mare Company serves 700 customers both in Moscow and all over Russia (Saint Petersburg, Orenburg, Rostov, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk, Nizhny Novgorod).
