Saint-Petersburg-based engineering plant Tauras-Fenix has developed an automatic machine Plastpack-OR for packing marinated fish.

Seafood products pre-stacked in plastic containers are single-conveyed to the open rotor to get a dose of marinade (brine, mayonnaise or oil) and be further sealed with plastic covers.

Plastpack-OR machine for marinated preserves has been developed on the base of the same called packing machine with the open rotor widely used in dairy plants.

The line includes a volume doser with pneumatic drive with the doser's construction providing for a possibility to install a resetting complex for packing pate-like products of up to 500 milliliters, e.g. fish paste. The production tank has a design capacity of up to 29 liters and it is fitted with optical sensor of the level of the product inside. To the customer's order the manufacturer can set an applicator for self-stickers at the off-conveyor.
