Russian vets to inspect Columbian processing plants

The Russian vets and Columbian Embassy have held talks on forthcoming inspections of Columbian fish processing plants. The Columbian Embassy was the initiator of the negotiations which were conducted with the team of Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor lead by Deputy Head of veterinary inspection Mr. Alexander Ponomarev.

After general review of the veterinary situation the parties agreed to discuss the new forms of vet certificates for meat, poultry, pork, fish and seafood products. The Russian vets will respectively inspect the plants processing these products categories.
