Russian vets released list of approved Vietnamese exporters
Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has released a list of Vietnamese fish processing, fish farming and storage plants approved for export to the Russian Federation as of 8 May 2009, reports www.fishnet-russia.com (www.fishnet.ru) with reference to the Service's official press-release.
The list has been published in the Service's directive No.FS-AS-4/4400 dated 8 May April 2009. (The Service's directive No. FS-GK-4/3717 dated 12 March 2009 has been declared no more valid accordingly.)
Simultaneously it is stipulated that clearance of finfish and other aquatic products shall be carried out according to seafood import permits regardless of presence of valid contracts between Russian importers and Peruvian fish processors approved for export to Russia.
