Russian vets released list of approved Peruvian exporters
Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has released a list of Peruvian fish processing plants and vessels approved for export to the Russian Federation, reports www.fishnet-russia.com (www.fishnet.ru) with reference to the Service.
The list has been published in the Service's directive No. FS-GK-4/4349 dated 7 May 2009. (The Service's directive No. FS-GK-4/1974 dated 12 March 2009 has been declared no more valid accordingly.)
Simultaneously it is stipulated that clearance of finfish and other aquatic products shall be carried out according to seafood import permits regardless of presence of valid contracts between Russian importers and Peruvian fish processors approved for export to Russia.
