Russian vets lifted restrictions for seafood importation from Norwegian and Finnish plants

Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has lifted restrictions for seafood importation from one Norwegian plant and one Finnish plant as of 1 December 2008, reports www.fishnet-russia.com (www.fishnet.ru) with reference to the Service.

More specifically, the Russian vets have approved the Norwegian plant H-120, the decision amending the directive No. FS-HB-4/9991 dated 1 October 2008. Along with the above, the Service has lifted restrictions from the Finnish plant F 83353 thus amending the directive No.FS-PS-4/5857 dated 17 June 2008.
