Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has lifted temporary restrictions from a previously suspended Norwegian plant which is now allowed to export seafood to Russia, reports www.fishnet-russia.com (www.fishnet.ru) with reference to the Service.

More specifically, according to the directive No. FS-GK-2673 dated 27 March 2009, the restrictions have been lifted from the Norwegian plant H-12 as of 5 April 2009. The Russian vets have made the decision after they have received guarantees from the Norwegian side.
