Russian vets circulated updated list of Russia-approved Norwegian salmon and trout exporters
In his fax No.FS-EN-4/12171 dated 29 November 2007 deputy head of Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor Mr. Nepoklonov E.A. has circulated the updated list of Norwegian fish processing plants approved for export of their Atlantic salmon and rainbow trout to the territory of the Russian Federation and the Russian importers currently holding contracts with their Norwegian suppliers. The list has been forwarded to the heads of the service's territorial departments and heads of the Russian provinces' veterinary bodies for their information and consideration.
The information should be circulated among all the lower organizations of Rosselkhoznadzor as well as among all the interested companies, the memo said.
According to the circular, directive No.FS-EN-4/10421 dated 18 October 2007 should now be regarded invalid.
