Russian vets cancelling temporary restrictions for seafood importation from Chilean plants

Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has cancelled temporary restrictions for fish, fish products and non-finfish products importation from Chilean plants, reports http://www.megafishnet.com / with reference to the Service.

More specifically, under the Service's directive the Russian vets have cancelled restrictions for seafood importation from the Chilean plants Fitz Roy S.A. (No. 10156) and Sociedad Jiménez Gutierrez y Cia Ltda. (No. 10658) as of 10 December 2010.

The restrictions on importation were implemented since 15 October 2010 due to discovery of listeria in products coming from the plants.
