Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has cancelled temporary restrictions for fish, fish products and non-finfish products importation from a Chinese plant, reports http://www.megafishnet.com / with reference to the Service.

More specifically, under the Service's directive the Russian vets have cancelled restrictions for seafood importation from the Chinese plant Guangdong Jinhang Aquatic Food Co. Ltd (No. 4400/02262) as of 10 December 2010.

The restrictions on importation were implemented on 5 June 2010 due to discovery of excessive volume of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorgasms in products coming from the plants.
