Russian vets from Saint-Petersburg and Leningrad-Oblast departments of the nation's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor have turned down 29 tonnes of raw beef entrails, 25 tonnes of beef trimmings and 14.5 tonnes of dried shellfish as the goods have come to the Russian Federation from non-approved plants.

More specifically, the beef lots have been shipped from Brazilian plants temporarily restricted for export to Russia, while dried shellfish has come from a Vietnamese company non-approved by Rosselkhoznadzor for export to the Russian Federation.
