Russian vets approving seafood importation from India

Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has approved seafood importation from India, reports http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with reference to the Service.

More specifically, under the Service's directive No. FS-NV-4/8639 dated 12 August 2009 the Russian vets have approved seafood importation from Indian processing plants as of 13 August 2009 except for those processors which have been temporarily restricted by the Russian vets according to the results of the monitoring lab checks for presence of forbidden and unhealthy substances.
