Russian vets approving more fish plants for export from Germany

According to the Memo regarding conditions for seafood shipments from Germany to Russia signed on 14 January 2009 and taking into account the guarantees of Germany's Animals Health and Food Hygiene Department of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection, Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance Rosselkhoznadzor has found it possible to approve five more German plants for seafood export to the Russian Federation, reports http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with reference to the Service.

More specifically, under the Service's directive No. FS-AS-4/8284 dated 4 August 2009 adding to the directive No. FS-GK-4/3817 dated 27 April 2009, the following German plants have been additionally approved for export of their seafood products to the Russian Federation:

  • 1. DE-MV 55001 (Caviar Creator Manufactur Gmbh);
  • 2. DE-HB-EFU 095 EWG (Frigolanda Tiefkuhlcenter Bremerhaven GmbH);
  • 3. DE-NI-EFB 102 EG (Royal Greenland Seafood Gmbh);
  • 4. DE MV-EFB 008 EG (Rugen Fish AG);
  • 5. D-HB-EFB 062 (Andreas Simonsen Gmbh).

In this connection, products shipped from above mentioned German plants are allowed for clearance and delivery to the territory of the Russian Federation.
