Russian vets approving more Faroese fish processing plants for export to Russia

Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has approved three more Faroese fish processing plants for export to the country and introduced amendments to the lists of approved Italian, Icelandic and New Zealand fish processing plants, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with reference to the Service.

More specifically, under the Service's directive No.FS-AS-4/2892 dated 31 March 2010 the Russian vets have additionally approved the following Faroese plants for export to the Russian Federation:

The list of New Zealand fish processing companies approved for export to the Russian Federation has been amended as follows:

  • companies No. PN 483 Altair II and PH 290 Moana Pacific Fisheries have been excluded from the list.
