Russian statistics for canned fish production in first half of 2009 showing new trends
In the first half of 2009 the Russian food industry produced 330 million nominal cans of fish, reports www.fishnet-russia.com (www.fishnet.ru) with reference to Rosstat (the nation's statistics body).
More specifically, the above mentioned volume of 330 million nominal cans was 17.6% down on the same period of last year.
In June 2009 canned fish production decreased by 14.1% on June 2008 and 0.5% on May 2009.
