Russian fishermen harvesting deli grenadier

Since the beginning of the year 2010 Russian fishermen harvested more than 18,000 tonnes of grenadier, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/.

Namely, 18,300 tonnes of grenadier have been harvested that is 7,200 tonnes less in comparison with the same period last year.

The bulk has been harvested in the Far East Fisheries basin. In the Bering Sea the harvested volume amounted to 10,800 tonnes surpassing the last year results by 19.7%. In the Sea of Okhotsk the harvested volume decreased almost twice to 1,300 tonnes, while in North and South Kurile area 6,200 tonnes of grenadier have been fished.
