Russian fish giant applying for new commodity fish farming sites in Murmansk

OOO Russian Sea-Aquaculture, a member company of Russian Sea Group, one of the nation's giants in fish processing, import and sales, has applied for allocation of new fish sites for commodity farming operations in the province of Murmansk, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with reference to IA Nord-News.

To support the company's plans the regional fisheries committee has organized a meeting of the commission in charge of defining the fishing sites' borders in Murmansk with participation of representatives of the Barents Sea and White Sea Territorial Department, the province's committee on nature management and ecology, PINRO, Northern Fleet, the regional Frontier Department and the Federal Service For Nature Management Surveillance (Rosprirodnadzor).

In the course of the meeting some of the sites, which the company applied for, were recommended to be included into the list of approved sites for commodity fish farming.
