Russia top buyer of Estonian seafood again
According to Estonian Statistics Department, for the first time after 1990s Russia became the largest buyer of Estonian seafood, surpassing the EU countries in the sector, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with reference to REGNUM.
Russia's leadership has become noticeable in the recent two years when the annual rise of export to Russia amounted to 15-20% against the decline of export to EU countries.
In particular, in 2009 Russia purchased Estonian seafood products at the total value of 267 million krones (17 million Euro) and became Estonia's top 1 importer, followed by the Ukraine (11 million Euro) and Finland (8 million Euro).
