December 4, 2006 12:04
As of 27 November 2006 the Russian vets have cleared a ninth Norwegian salmon producer H107 for export to Russia, according to the Russian Vet and Phytosanitary Service Rosselkhoznadzor operating under the Ministry of Agriculture.

The decision was made based on the guarantees of the respective Norwegian authorities "about elimination of the drawbacks discovered at the plant H107 during joint inspection."

As a result, the temporary restrictions for import into Russia of fresh, chilled and frozen fish from this plant have been lifted, said the Russian vet service.
