Norway and Russia setting up single database of illegally fishing vessels

Coast guard services of Norway and the Russian Federation have made a decision to set up a single database of illegally fishing vessels. This will ease the process of infringers' arresting, according to fishery police sources.

Until now the Services of two countries exchanged information using telephone, fax and e-mail. Now all information will go to a single electronic database which will be maintained in English.
