New fish plant in Taranay (Sakhalin) to process 2,000 tonnes per day

OOO "Kompas" Company has launched a new processing plant in the Taranay village (Sakhalin Island). The plant is equipped with the modern up-to-date lines for complete preparation of fish for the freezing process.

The production is run as a continuous cycle with the machinery at of the new facility capable of process up to 2,000 tonnes of raw material per 24 hours.

By the start of November the plant  has not yet been run on industrial scale, but it has been successfully tested to process fish of this year season during the trial period. The equipment was bought at the funds of the loan, Kompas Company funds and money of an investor partner of the Kompas Company from Moscow.

The volumes of raw materials from Aniva Bay will allow to process fish for 24 hours. There are only 4 plants in Taranay and the new facility will create additional working places in the region. In addition to production lines the company plans to build the canteen for workers.
