TOP20 countries of origin for seafood products imported to Russia in 2011 by net weight
In January 2012 Russian companies imported 46,400 MT of seafood products at the total value of more than RUR 3.8 billion. Products were imported from 44 countries (of origin) with Norway remaining the unchallenged leader with the share of 44.46% in volume and 50.19% in customs value. Other important producing nations were Estonia, Iceland and Canada, reports www.megafishnet.com.
