TOP20 countries of origin for seafood products imported to Russia in 2011 by net weight
In 2011 Russian companies imported 789,000 MT of seafood products at the total value of more than RUR 66.8 billion. Products were imported from 60 countries (of origin) with Norway remaining the unchallenged leader with the share of 36.36% in volume and 41.22% in customs value. Other important producing nations were Iceland, China and Canada, reports www.megafishnet.com.
