April 28, 2014 10:28

Laboratory tests of products exported from Armenian plant OOO “Unifish Export” into Russia demonstrated crayfish bacterial contamination that is a non-compliance with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Customs Union and Russia. In view of the fact that the non-compliance was detected for the first time the Rosselkhoznadzor imposes enhanced laboratory monitoring of the products exported from this plant. In case of further such non-compliances the Rosselkhoznadzor will have to impose temporary restrictions on importation of the products from this plant into Russia. The Rosselkhoznadzor requested the Armenian Veterinary Service to perform an investigation and take measures in order to assure the exported goods to be fully compliant with the veterinary and sanitary requirements of the Customs Union and Russia.
