Russian salmon fishery improving
The Russian salmon fishery at Sakhalin is doing well and the market is expecting the prices will go down a bit. according to Megafishnet.com
As regards salted bulk salmon roe, it is in limited supply so far as being shipped to Moscow by air. As a result, the prices tend to go up in short term. Later in September mass container shipments will put the trend in the reverse.
However one must consider such factor as the plans of the suppliers to do more own packing this year.
