Prices for fish products from Russian Far East remaining stable in mid-June

As per mid-June 2021 the first hand prices for quite a number of products from the Russian Far Eastern Fisheries stay unchanged from May, reports Megafishnet.com.

According to producer sources in the area, headed Alaska pollock and squid tubes have been showing a brisk demand.

As per mid-June, a provisional solution to the HC bottleneck has been found and China has resumed accepting truck shipments of seafood products from Russia’s onshore plants, an informed trading source in Vladivostok told Megafishnet.com.

Meanwhile frozen seafood delivery tariff from Vladivostok to Moscow by railway has been stable at RUR18-19 per kg.

Alaska pollock

Prices for HG pollock have remained unchanged. The supply is still limited. In the Bering Sea the fishery situation remain weak.

On the international market Russian HG pollock 25+ fetches USD1,300-1,350 per tonne CFR China.

The demand for APO fillets and mince produced onshore is reported as brisk.
