Marel: All-round success at SPE Brussels
It began on a high-energy note and maintained its momentum throughout. Even before the last guest had left, this year's Seafood Processing Europe show in Brussels had been pronounced a resounding success by the entire Marel team involved, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to Marel.
As well as the hundreds of sales leads generated, the range of equipment sold straight off the stand covered a colourful cross-section of the company's products, including SpeedBatchers, Compact Graders, bandsaws, SilkCut salmon slicers, I-Cut portion cutters, marine scales and Innova production management software.
And underlining the global nature of the exhibition and the Marel customer base, sales were made to companies operating in countries as far apart as Finland, France, Norway, Indonesia, Israel and Thailand.
"We‘re absolutely delighted with this year's Seafood Processing Europe show in Brussels," says Fish Industry Centre general manager Jón Birgir Gunnarsson.
"For many of us, the real work begins now, following up the massive number of leads generated over the three days."
"However, while the event was a major success at every level, the lasting highlight for me was, without doubt, the praise we received from many of our customers, some of whom are among the global industry's leading players."
"The enthusiasm some of them showed for Marel products and solutions was nothing short of infectious, and the trust they showed in the company is a tremendous source of encouragement for the future."
"I would like to thank the Marel team, visitors to our stand and our customers for making the event the great success that it was, and look forward to continue working closely with them all in the future in our on-going efforts to maintain and strengthen our position as a leading industry innovator."
