Major producer profiting from Russians' love for soup

The US-based company Campbells, which is considered to be a world-famous producer of soups and natural broths, including soups from seafood, is going to add seafood-based products to its prepared soups' range on sale in Russia, according to media reports and the company's website.

In particular, in the future the company does not exclude the possibility to sell in Russia its soups based on seafood such as Maryland Style Spicy Crab Soup and Chunky New England Clam Chowder.

Campbells has already introduced its products under TM Campbell's Domashnyaya Klassika in the Russian market. Under this TM the company produces 100% natural broths with three different flavours: beef, chicken and mushroom.

Obviously, this developments are triggered by the reports that at present the market of prepared soups is growing fast. This, in turn, opens great opportunities for seafood suppliers, because people associate seafood with healthy eating.
