Kamchatka company announced Russia's best seafood exporter

Kamchatka-based fishing artel Kolkhoz Krasnyi Truzhenik was awarded the title of Russia's Best Exporter 2006 at the recent ceremony held in Moscow under the aegis of the nation's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade and Vnesheconombank.

The candidates were selected according to specially developed evaluation method including a number of criteria such as ratio of export to the total volume of company's sales and export growth through the year 2006 as compared to 2005.

Such sizing up of the year results is claimed to be a nice opportunity for exporters to inform about themselves both inside Russia and abroad, because the ceremony gathers trade representatives and counselors of embassies which are Russia's leading partners on the international market. The winners of the competition received special badges and diplomas of the best exporter 2006.

This year candidates for Russia Best Exporter 2006 competed in 4 nominations: "the best exporter of the industry", "the best exporter to CIS", "the most dynamically developing exporter of the industry" and "for assistance in export development".
