Rosselkhoznadzor Held Technical Talks with Representatives of Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay

Videoconference between the Rosselkhoznadzor and representatives of Uruguayan Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries was held on July 13, 2018.

The parties discussed technical details of MERCURIUS State Information System by the Uruguayan party, and particularly of its Notifications interface when dispatching veterinary consignments from Uruguay to Russian consignees. In the conclusion, it was decided that from July 23, 2018 the Uruguayan party will start sending preliminary notifications in the test run mode.

The Russian party informed the Uruguayan colleagues about the access procedure and answered the questions asked.

The parties also agreed to hold another videoconference in September 2018 and continue routine interaction about technical matters.
