According to the previously achieved agreements, negotiations will take place from 16-21 July this year in Morocco to confirm the previously achieved agreements on cooperation between the Rosselkhoznadzor and the National Office for Food Safety of Morocco during export of Moroccan products under quarantine to Russia, reports http://www.megafishnet.com/ based on FSVPS mid-July statement.

In addition, a range of issues related to safety of fish products exported from Morocco to Russia will be discussed.

Earlier in July talks between Yevgeny Nepoklonov, Deputy Head of the Rossekhoznadzor, and Mr. Oumiyer, Charge D'affaires ad Interim of Morocco took place upon the initiative of the Russian party and were devoted to the preparation of the Rosselkhoznadzor specialists' visit to Morocco to discuss the development of cooperation in the sphere of veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance.

The parties expressed deep satisfaction with working cooperation between the Russian and the Moroccan surveillance services in safety assurance of Moroccan fish products exported to the Customs Union market.

According to Mr. Oumiyer the achieved success is based on the constructive cooperation between the Rosselkhoznadzor and the competent Moroccan national services during the last several years.

It is planned to sign a bilateral memorandum of cooperation in phytosanitary field and to hold negotiations on improvement of cooperation in veterinary surveillance within the forthcoming visit of the Russian delegation to Morocco.
