X5 Group launched 200th sushi point in Russia

X5 Group, a leading Russian food retailer, announces the launch of the 200th sushi point "A Lot of Salmon" in St. Petersburg and is planning launches in other cities of Russia.

According to Retail.ru, X5 Group plans to launch such points in Voronezh, Kazan, Tyumen and Surgut by the end of 2022. The opening of the anniversary object took place in the Perekrestok store.

In St. Petersburg, the company is represented in 45 supermarkets of the retail chain. In sushi points, professional chefs "A Lot of Salmon" cook directly in front of customers, in addition, dishes are presented in the departments of ready-to-eat food and cafes. "A lot of Salmon" is a foodtech project developing the federal network of dark kitchens.

At the moment, it unites more than 50 kitchens, 200 sushi points in Perekrestok supermarkets, its own mobile application and a set of software products to support key business processes, including food preparation and delivery.

At the end of March 2021, "A Lot of Salmon" became part of X5 Group. By this time, the company has expanded its geography, the number of "dark kitchens" and sushi points.

The project of the joint collaboration "A lot of Salmon" and the Perekrestok network for the opening of sushi points started at the end of April 2021.

Currently, "dark kitchens" and sushi points "A lot of Salmon" are open in Moscow and St. Petersburg, sushi points in partnership with Perekrestok also work in Yekaterinburg, Samara, Sochi, Murmansk, Volgograd and Nizhny Novgorod.

By the end of 2022, sushi points are planned to be opened in new cities - Voronezh, Kazan, Tyumen and Surgut. At the end of 2021, "A Lot of Salmon" operated 71 sushi points in Moscow and St. Petersburg and 46 "dark kitchens" in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don.
