FAF to auction Pacific salmon quotas

Russia’s Federal Agency for Fisheries (FAF) will auction shares of Pacific salmon quotas in the nation’s Far East on November 29-30 and December 7-9 later this year, reports Megafishnet.com.

The quota shares in question cover the rights for capture pink salmon, chum salmon, sockeye salmon, coho salmon, chinook salmon in different fishing areas, including the West Bering Sea and North Kuril zones, Kamchatka-Kuril, Petropavlovsk-Commander and Karaginsk subzones.

According FAF, 46 lots of quota shares under the terminated contracts will be put up for auction in late November. Applications for participation in this auction are accepted from 9:00 on September 30 to 11:00 (Moscow time) on November 23, 2021 at the address: Moscow, Rozhdestvensky Boulevard, 12.

57 lots of quota shares remaining undistributed during the application campaign of the year 2018 will be put up for auction in early December. Applications for the December auction are accepted from 9:00 on September 30 to 11:00 (Moscow time) on December 2, 2021.
