Iceland: Considerable improvement in lobster fishing

Lobster fishing has considerably improved, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to Iceland Seafood International.

The total quota for the season is 2,200 metric tons and about the middle of this week 1,575 tons of this (71.6%) had been taken. Fishing is said to be good and the processors are happy with the size of the lobster. The quota for the next fishing year, starting September 1st, is 2,100 tons.
