Frozen fish market situation in Murmansk as per 28 October 2008
As per 28 October 2008 the fresh frozen fish market situation has been marked by certain changes, market players based in Murmansk told http://www.fishnet-russia.com/ (https://www.fishnet.ru/).
The situation on the groundfish market has become more exciting. In particular, there appeared offers of halibut of new season.
The prices of blue whiting have decreased. Large volumes (from 100 tonnes) are available at a price of RUB22.50 per kilo. The prices of herring have been stable while the supply has been rather slow as the herring has partly gone for institutional tenders, which are traditionally held in autumn.
