The Okhotsk fishery of Russian pollock has come to an end with fairly good results.

More specifically, through 100 days of the A season starting from 1 January 2019 the Russian fleets harvested ca.920,000 metric tons of Alaska pollock. That made a major contribution to the nation’s total harvest of nearly 1.5 million metric tons from the beginning of the year.
