Russia's recent vet directive has lifted restrictions for seafood shipments from one of the Chinese plants, reports www.fishnet-russia.com (https://www.fishnet.ru/) with reference to the Service.

The restrictions have been lifted as of 20 March 2009 and the document covers the Chinese plant No.3700/02883 earlier hit by the restrictions to export to the Russian Federation which were introduced by Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor).

The given directive amends the Service's directive No.FS-NV-4/4226 dated 5 May 2008.
