Directive No.FS-GK-2/5660 dated 14 June 2007 of Rosselkhoznadzor

In connection with the finding of the Salmonella culture in the course of monitoring checks in poultry meat shipped to the Russian Federation from the Belgian plant BE E 1046 EG, from the German plants DE EZG 579 EG, ESG 95, DE EZG 280 EG AND; bacteria of the colibacillus group and mesophilic aerobic and elective anaerobic microorganisms in frozen fish shipped to the RF from the Chinese plant 4400/02270 and 4600/02026, in beef from the Moldavian plant OOO Navelina (ltd) (Orgeyev City); and cattle DNA in fishmeal from the Danish plant Fiskernes Fiskeindustri (FF Skagen) and from the Mauritanian plant Mine Shipping and Trading Co. Ltd, temporary restrictions for shipments of products from the above plants to the Russian Federation are introduced as of 11 June 2007.

In view of the aforesaid, it is ordered to conduct checks of the establishments under the veterinary surveillance for products made by the above mentioned company.

On discovery of the products it is necessary to follow the directive of Rosselkhoznadzor No.FS-SD-2/3536 dated 18 April 2007 (Articles 4-6).

The given information is brought to the notice of all the inferior organizations of Rosselkhoznadzor as well as interested companies engaged in foreign trade.
