Conference on mackerel fishing called off
A conference on mackerel fishing in the NE Atlantic was to take place in Reykjavik on Wednesday and Thursday last week, reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to Iceland Seafood International.
Because of uncertain air connections and temporary closure of airports in Iceland and in Europe, the conference was called off. A new date and location for the conference is yet to be determined.
The nations that take part in the mackerel-discussion: Iceland, Norway, the Faroes, Russia, and the European Union.
