In 2018 the Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport for short from Russian) hit record handling turnover of over 4.5 million tons of cargoes, 14% up on 2017.

According to the company, last year 844 vessels were moored at the port berths, during the fishing period simultaneously the port would serve up to 8 vessels with fish products at a time. In 2018 the port handled 330,000 tonnes of fish cargoes, 22% up on 2017.

The company is the nation’s leader in terms of handling of fish products. It is a modern enterprise with annual handling capacity of up to 5.5 million metric tons of cargoes, 250 thousand containers.

Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port is the only port in the Russian Far East capable of handling refrigerated vessels with an allowable draft of up to 9.5 meters. For more than four years running from February to May, the largest mothership Vsevolod Sibirtsev has been landing fish cargoes here.

Focusing on expansion of its fish transshipment services, Vladmorrybport has been working at a modern coldstore infrastructure that will significantly increase its seafood storage capacity. More specifically, Vladivostok Fish Terminal Ltd as a resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok is currently implementing a large-scale project for the construction of a new coldstore complex capable of storing 35 thousand tonnes at a time. Besides, in the future the port will be ready to provide equipment and facilities for a fish exchange and an electronic trading platform.
