New resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok will process 2.4 thousand MT of fish per year

SEVERNAYA ZVEZDA LLC, a new resident of the Free Port of Vladivostok (a special investment regime in the Russian Far East), will establish a fish and seafood processing facility in Ussuriysk, Primorsky Region, to process fish and seafood, followed by freezing, packaging, and storage in a modern refrigerated warehouse. The facility's products, including fish fillets, peeled seafood, and semi-finished products, will be sold domestically and also exported. Under an agreement with the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC), the company will invest over 208 million rubles. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in 2026.

"The plant's capacity will allow for the monthly production of up to 200 tons of processed products, amounting to 2,400 tons per year. The key focus of the new facility will be the production of a wide range of frozen fish and seafood. The assortment will also include seafood such as squid, shrimp, mussels, and scallops. In the future, we plan to expand the product line to include finished and semi-finished products, such as cutlets and steaks," said Valery Kozlov, CEO of SEVERNAYA ZEZDA LLC.
