Blount details thanksgiving lineup for foodservice

Blount's Executive Chef Jeff Wirtz suggests two special soups and two complementary dips to round out the holiday menu in any restaurant.  They are:

  • Thanksgiving-Every-Day Soup - Temp diners in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving with this memorable combination of turkey, wild rice blend, cranberries, cream and sherry and they will truly give thanks. This trendy, hearty soup is great served in a bread bowl or pastry shell.

  • Caramelized Onion Dip - From Blount's newest, and rapidly growing line, comes an instant holiday masterpiece that is sure to stay in demand all year long. Whipped cream cheese is infused with sweet caramelized onion to form an instant classic.
  • Crab & Ale Dip - The sweetness of crab meat and the slight bitterness of ale combine wonderfully in this dip that enlivens chips, crackers, bread, vegetables...and any dipping food.
