Big fish combine on agenda near Olympics city in the south of Russia

Slavyansk-Na-Kubani located in Krasnodarsky Krai Territory in the south of Russia is going to make a presentation of a big processing plant project worth 60 million Euro at Sochi 2007 International Investment Forum, according to Regnum.

The project provides for organization of processing of up to 40,000 tonnes of fish harvested in six areas of Kuban. The fish combine will include a fish cannery, a can making plant and a cold store with a workshop for primary raw fish processing.

A land site of 17 hectares has already been chosen for the project. Construction of the fish combine will provide 600 jobs in the city.
