Belarus launching production of herring fillets in Darfresh packaging

Belarus Government-owned concern GTPUP Belryba, one of the largest producers of smoked and dry-cured fish, delicatessen fish and marinated fish and importers of frozen fish, shellfish and mollusks to Belarus, has launched production of herring fillets in Darfresh packaging.

More specifically, the new products offered by the company are herring fillets Pikantnoye and herring fillets with spices in 150-gram packaging.

Along with the above, in the beginning of the current year 2007 Belryba started producing marinated herring in original convenient packaging - Lukovka-labelled herring in Riga marinade and in lemon-and-wine marinade in 150-gram square trays.

Belryba has been operating on the Belorussian market for more than 45 years. The company's current range consists of more than 350 items including cold and hot smoked fish, salted and dry-cured fish, marinated herring, mackerel, salmons, laminaria salads, various delicatessen in vacuum packs.

Belryba has become an authorized dealer of one of Europe's largest producers of convenient fish items, ready-to-eat fish products and surimi-based range VICIUNAI from Lithuania. Besides, the company is an authorized dealer of Russia's Ledovo Group producing freshfrozen marine delicatessen, shrimps, squid, mussels, etc. under the Salmon label.

Wholesale and retail companies, public catering companies, sole traders are in the clients' list of Belryba.

The company's retail network is made up of two specialized shops, sections in largest shops of the nation's capital Minsk, trade pavilions, offices (with cold stores) in Grodno, Gomel, Mogilev, Brest and representatives in all the largest cities of Belarus.
