ADRIEN Group launching new product
During the EXPOALIMENTARIA exhibition, held in Lima (Peru) from September the 9th until September the 11th, ARCOPA, subsidiary of the ADRIEN Group, launched a new product, developed through a partnership with the ITP (Peruvian Fishing Technological Institute): THE "FISH SAUSAGE" (salchichas de pescado), reports www.megafishnet.com with reference to Adrien Group.
This new product, developed from anchovy surimi base, allows an easy consumption of fish for children. This product also offers a new application for the Peruvian anchovy, which biomass is very important: usually, this fish is essentially used for fishmeal production.
The aim of the ITP is to develop a new product from anchovy intended to human consumption, and to allow a higher consumption of fish protein from the local consumers.
