More specifically, according to the Service's Directive FS-GK - 4/13681 dated 2 November 2010, the following plants are subject to strengthened veterinary control:

-plant No. 1933 (due to discovery Staphylococcus aureus in frozen hake).
Besides, as of 15 November 2010 importation of fish, fish products and non-finfish products from the Canadian plant No. 3199 (due to excessive content of mercury in cooked frozen shrimps) has been temporary restricted.
